Port Augusta to Streaky Bay.

Port Augusta on the Spencer Gulf.

Not much to see on the way from Burra to Port Augusta. The land is flat until a few hills appeared before we got to the main highway. We drove up to the Miners Lookout in Burra as we left town. We stopped in Gladstone SA for morning tea
After a nights sleep we left for Streaky Bay a distance of about 390 kms. We stopped at Kimba halfway across Australia for coffee. I had my first drive of the new motorhome from Wunnira to Streaky Bay about 130klms. I'll probably do more as we get further around the country. We have a nice water site a few down from Bob and Elaine in the Streaky Bay CP.
$32 per night. We are booked in for three nights.

The weather is cool but sunny here. We saw a beautiful sunset followed by a great sunrise.

                                              Sunrise over Streaky Bay
Today Bob drove us out to the Sea Lion colony. It was the highlight of the trip so far for me. Beautiful cliffs and a small colony of sea lions. From the lookout we had a great view of the ocean and surrounding cliffs. I got great photos of the sleepy sea lions and babies.
